PBA TRAINING PERFORMING ARTS & SPORTS SCHOOL

PBA Training Performing Arts and Sports School is based on Detroit’s west side where students from ages 4 years and older come to train in music, dance, cheerleading, sports, theater, modeling/etiquette, beauty pageantry, and media production. PBA focuses on the betterment of self, communication skills, teamwork, self-esteem, learning, leadership, drive, recognition of self-worth, health, tutoring, and career-building. Our students will thrive in any avenue they decide to partake in and will experience the dedication it takes to excel when participating in practicing, creating or learning a new craft. PBA Training exemplifies its name by showcasing that all partakers of the PBA Training facility are of exemplorary royal thinking and performance. We mold our students into people of confidence, love, discipline, power, and overall royalty. PBA Training Performing Arts and Sports School is a place to learn from the best to be and create the best. 

 

The organization is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The following is an example of an acceptable dissolution clause: Upon the dissolution of this organization, assets shall be distributed for one or more exempt purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code, or shall be distributed to the federal government, or to a state or local government, for a public purpose. 

 

We are both for profit and non-profit.

Pageant Bianca Atterberry is the owner of “PBA Training Performing Arts and Sports School” and “New Beginnings Child Care and Atterberry Academy.” With 4 locations at hand; Atterberry not only provides the top instructors to teach her students the skills of the arts in dance, music, acting, modeling, media production, and beauty pageant trainings, her child care centers are the elite in early childhood education.

 

Weekly, she feeds over 150 Detroit youth in her afterschool program of PBA Training, thanks to Forgotten Harvest, her establishments provide dental services, free transportation to and from school, guarantees each students of both PBA Royal and New Beginnings a seat at Cornerstone Charter Schools, and tracks them academically and through extra curriculum to later be chosen for a summer school program at Harvard University once they hit grade 6 – Harvard University also provides the school supplies for her students. PBA Royal welcomes children ages 4 and up, while New Beginnings Child Care begins at age 6-weeks to 12 years of age, latchkey services provided. PBA Training is also now located inside the Boys and Girls Club of SEM as well.

 

The accomplishments that Pageant as intertwined herself within has continued to grow. She is on the board of Directors of the Urban League of Southeast Michigan and Detroit, sits on a mileage committee which includes, the president of the Skillman Foundation, the Wayne County Executive, the Sean Anderson Foundation, the Wayne County Sheriff, 15 mayors within Wayne County, the President of United Way, and the president of Boys and Girls Club. Atterberry is a member of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), worked as a political journalist for The Nations Capital, White House and Pentagon during the Obama Administration, was a contributor to the “Women of Color for Hillary Clinton” campaign, produced 11 shows for 910AM Superstation along with being the first news reporter and face for the station as well. Pageant B. Atterberry has free-lanced for the Michigan Chronicle, Detroit Free Press and Jazz it Up Television, was featured in Detroit’s "Who's Who", recognized as a Millennial Mogul, nominated for Detroit’s "Best in Black," awarded the “40 Under 40” award from the Michigan Chronicle, along with being Google certified.

 

Pageant B. Atterberry holds the former title as Miss Southfield USA 2014 (of Miss Michigan USA), is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy holding a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Minors in both American History and Political Science and a certificate in Pre-Law. Currently, Atterberry is a graduate student at Harvard University where she is finishing her Master’s degrees in Government, with 4 graduate certificates, including International Relations, American Literature and Culture, Social Justice, and International Security.
